Nina Silfverberg’s designs have been seen from Edinburgh to Stockholm, from Helsinki to California and on numerous stages in between. For nearly twenty years Nina has engaged in thorough ensemble work, deciphering the language of costumes. Nina is also immersed in the world of felted wool. Nina is enjoying her second round of an artist fellowship with the Svenska kulturfonden in Finland. She recently completed an interactive touring exhibition of Finland with enormous felted woolen sculptures and is bringing felted costumes to the stage, as much as the actors allows for it. Her felted art work was most recently seen at the Parks Gallery, Harwood Art Museum and Stables Gallery in Taos, New Mexico. Nina is happy to be involved in this project. Nina lives and creates in Taos, New Mexico, where her family shuffles about in felted clothing.
