Dominic Lim

Dominic Lim has completed coursework for his Masters of Music as a countertenor in the Early Music Institute at Indiana. He has studied voice with Paul Elliott, Patricia Wise, Jay White, Drew Minter, Ellen Hargis, Myron McPherson, and Lorraine Manz (Oberlin Conservatory of Music). Opera credits include Giulio Cesare (Tolomeo) at Indiana University, Tigrane (Oronte) with the Bloomington Early Music Festival, Idomeneo (Idamante) with the California Music Festival, Xerxes (Elviro) and La Clemenza di Tito (Annio), both with Nico Castel’s New York Opera Studio. He has been a soloist with early music ensemble ¡Sacabuche! for the Boston, Berkeley, and Bloomington Early Music Festivals as well as with the Indiana University ensembles Pro Arte Singers, Concentus and All-Campus Chorus.

Dominic has been a finalist for the vocal ensemble, Chanticleer, and was recorded for the sixth edition of the Norton Recorded Anthology of Western Music and for World Library Publications’ eight-CD collection, Psalms and Ritual Music. Favorite stage and TV credits include the Off-Broadway production of The Karaoke Show (Lola), Mame at North Shore Music Theater (Ito), Miss Saigon (NSMT and Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera), and a role on All My Children.  Dominic is a cantor at Most Holy Redeemer Church in San Francisco and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
