During the 2014-2015 season, Magnificat will once again present three programs, all performed in Palo Alto, Berkeley and San Francisco. Each program will feature premiere performances of new editions of 17th century masterworks. Stewart has also prepared an edition of Cavalli's Messa concertata for a December coproduction with the San Francisco Early Music Society and in March, Magnificat will present two oratorios by Marc-Antoine Charpentier that set the stories of two strong women from the Old Testament: Esther and Judith.
